Details: Stock Markets are a vital part of any economy. Many invest in various companies, and some make big money. The National Organization for Business and Engineering (NOBE) Stock Market Simulation Game is an interactive learning experience that allows players to invest $100,000 over 5 weeks to see how they would perform if they were to make the same choices on real stock exchanges. The game is run annually in the spring semester and the winners are rewarded with real cash prizes. Student involvement with the stock game grows each year, with over 100 participants this past spring. Unlike similar services online, our game uses real-time quotes in trading. It currently supports a variety of order types and shorting.
